The IGNSS Society is a not for profit association incorporated in Queensland, Australia.Australia is seen internationally as having a history of stability, from a Governmentand from an economic point of view, thus making it very desirable as a potentialsouthern hemisphere satellite navigation partner.Australia, not having a satellite navigation system of its own, can truly beconsidered as a totally independent, neutral country, suitable for openand frank discussions regarding applications development on all satellite navigation systems.
